To let all of our customers who visit our showroom, make donations or receive deliveries from CFRC know what to expect, we have made this short video. It lets everyone know what our COVID19 Safety Information procedures are, and what we are doing at CFRC to keep everyone safe and reduce the risk of spreading COVID19. Our staff and customer safety is our number one priority, by working together we can make sure that we are doing everything we can to welcome everyone back safely.

DELIVERIES
We have created a set of safety guidelines to give our customers peace of mind and to help prevent the spread of COVID19.
CUSTOMER Service
Our phone lines are open and our staff are now taking calls and emails regarding any enquiries or questions you may have.
SHOWROOM
Our staff will be wearing face masks/face shields for safety. All customers are required to wear a face mask in our showroom.
DONATIONS
To help protect our staff and minimise risk, we require all customers to sanitise and clean all items prior to collection.
DELIVERIES FROM CFRC
KEEPING YOU SAFE IN YOUR HOME
Please advise our staff in advance if anyone in your household is displaying symptoms of COVID19, or if they are self isolating. This COVID19 Safety Information is for the protection of all of our delivery staff and our customers.
  • Following guidelines all reuse furniture is quarantined for 72hrs then cleaned before going through our usual safety checks
  • To minimise risk of contamination, all furniture items will be wrapped or bagged for delivery
  • Our delivery vans are disinfected daily and will not be used to collect donations whilst delivering cleaned and wrapped items
  • Delivery staff will wear appropriate PPE and a face mask and/or shield
  • Delivery staff will sanitise hands/gloves prior to unwrapping your items
  • Where possible we’d like to deliver to your door but understand this isn’t always possible.  Where we do need to enter your home please ensure:
  • All internal doors required to deliver the items are left open
  • A clear route is established for the delivery from your front door to the delivery point.  To minimise risk our staff will minimise contact with any surfaces and as such cannot move any of your items
  • All residents of the home will need to retire to another room to allow for the delivery without contact, ensuring a minimum 2m social distance at all times
  • We will not be requesting a signature.  When the driver departs from your home, he will wait until you have checked over the items and confirmed you are happy before leaving
  • Staff will sanitise hands/gloves when delivery is complete

MAKING A FURNITURE DONATION
WE WILL ACCEPT GOOD QUALITY REUSEABLE FURNITURE
As always we will accept good quality reusable furniture, however, to protect everyone during the Coronavirus Pandemic we have a few more  safety steps and  COVID19 Safety Information and  precautions that we need our staff and customers to adhere to.
  • Please sanitise/clean items prior to collection
  • Our vans are disinfected daily to reduce any risk and will not be used for delivery when collecting donations to reduce risk of contamination to quarantined and cleaned items
  • Staff will wear appropriate PPE including face mask/shields
  • Staff will sanitise their hands/gloves prior to handling your donations or entering your home
  • Where possible we’d like to collect items from inside your front door but understand this isn’t always possible.  Where we do need to enter your home please ensure:
  • All internal doors required to deliver the items are left open
  • A clear route is established for the collection from the collection point to the front door.  To minimise risk our staff will minimise contact with any surfaces and as such cannot move any of your items
  • All residents of the home will need to retire to another room to allow for the collection without contact, ensuring a minimum 2m social distance at all times
  • To minimise risk of transmission, no signature will be required but please provide an email address and mobile No for our records and Gift Aid, if applicable
  • Staff will sanitise hands/gloves when collection is complete 
  • All your donated items will be quarantined for 72 hrs upon arrival at our Warehouse

VISITING OUR SHOWROOM
KEEPING OUR STAFF & CUSTOMERS SAFE
Our staff will be wearing face masks/face shields for everyone’s safety. We ask that all customers wear a face mask in our showroom. Please follow the rules and guidelines we have set out to make sure your visit is safe and relaxed. If you have any questions our staff are always on hand to help you.
  • Use hand sanitiser – supplied
  • Keep a social distance – floor marking are provided to assist
  • Please keep touching and sitting on furniture to a minimum
  • Screens are installed at our Reception Desk as well as additional sanitisation station
  • Where possible please pay using card or contactless
  • Please follow the indicated exit route
  • Sanitise hands before exiting using the sanitisation station supplied
