Behind every donated sofa, table or household item is a story of generosity – and at CFRC, we do everything we can to make sure that story continues in someone else’s home.

But there’s another way that can take your donation even further: Gift Aid.

What does Gift Aid do for CFRC?

  • More vans on the road
    With Gift Aid funds, we’ve been able to expand our collection service, reaching more homes and saving more items from going to waste.
  • More people in jobs
    We use Gift Aid income to provide training and employment opportunities, helping local people build skills and confidence.
  • More support for those in need
    We supply affordable furniture to families and individuals who might not be able to furnish their homes otherwise.
  • Less waste to landfill
    By collecting, restoring and reselling donated goods, we keep perfectly usable items out of landfill – and Gift Aid helps us scale up that mission.

It starts with one simple choice

All of this starts when someone donates a wardrobe, mattress or other household item – and ticks “Yes” to Gift Aid. That one tick can be worth 25% more for us. Over time, it adds up to thousands of pounds of extra support for our community.
