Cunninghame Furniture Recycling Company (CFRC) has been a member of Circular Communities Scotland (CCS) since 2018. CCS is a membership organisation. They support and stands for social enterprises who contribute to the Circular Economy across Scotland. CFRC have been involved in giving quality reuse furniture to North Ayrshire Council Scottish Welfare Fund (SWF) 2021. This is through our membership of the Reuse Consortium which is a subsidiary of CCS. Scotland Excel Framework give reuse goods to public sector organisations in place of low quality brand new items. It helps to cut the production of new waste by promoting the reuse of quality items.
Since CFRC started supplying goods to SWF clients in 2021 we have assisted and provided:
CFRC also gave over 800 items free of charge amounting to the value of over £18,000.
